A young lady was seriously disgraced yesterday after being accused of witchcraft and also killing her new baby. The accused who sells fish at Okirighwre market in Sapele, Delta state – was followed by a crowd of residents who rained insults on her and called her a witch as they followed her in public.
According to them, they tried to give her a public humiliation in order to drive away the ‘evil spirit’ from her body according to their tradition.
