The House of Representatives aspirant for Bende Federal constituency gave this advise in a chat with our correspondent on Saturday. Quoting from the Book of John 3, the barrister at law said the love of God towards man necessitated the expression of such love through Christ whose death and resurrection has redeemed man from the power of darkness unto light. He urged Abians especially Bende constituents to always emulate the sacrifices of Jesus Christ by showing love to one another at all times.
He added: “It is unfortunate that Abians and indeed Bende my people have not tasted what good leadership is all about for several years. It gives me worry that our people have for long wallowed in abject poverty and want because the leaders treat their (people) welfare with utmost disdain and unseriousness while at the same time dubiously enriching themselves to the misery of the people. It is sad and unfortunate”.
The education enthusiast also urged Abians to identify with APC as the only route to presidency come 2023. “I want to urge Abians and South Easterners generally to fully align with APC as the only party through which Igbo presidency can be actualised in nearest future. We must support president Buhari’s second term agenda as the quickest route to Igbo presidency”, he said.
He urged the good people of Bende to support him in his quest to represent them at the Federal House of Reps come 2019, describing it as way for the people to enjoy effective representation that will come social amenities and human capital development around the constituency.
