Abia State governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has suspended the construction of Etche Road Shopping Mall pending when issue of the actual owner of the land will be resolved.

Abia State Government wishes to direct that construction work at the proposed Etche Road Shopping Mall Aba be suspended immediately, pending the determination of the actual ownership of the land where the project is located.
This directive strictly affects the ongoing development of the shopping mall and any other construction activity at the disputed portion within Etche Road field Aba.
