Troops of 707 Special Forces Brigade on the 18 March 2018 prevented the break down of law and order in Agasha town. Sequel to the arrest of 4 youths suspected to be members of a syndicate which rustled 20 cattle, youths numbering about 500 staged a protest demanding the release of the suspects from the custody of a sister security agency.
Timely response of troops prevented the situation from degenerating beyond control.
The situation is closely being monitored as patrols continue to dominate the general area.
