Buhari Snubs Obasanjo

President Muhammadu Buhari is yet to congratulate ex-president, Olusegun Obasanjo on his 81st birthday.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, former Deputy Governor Iyiola Omisore of Osun State, Senate President Bukola Saraki, former Senate President, David Mark, Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State,  the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have all congratulated the former leader except the President.

President Buhari, whose office has a media team with a template of congratulatory messages for eminent personalities in the country celebrating birthdays, is yet to publicly congratulate OBJ.

The last time President Buhari sent Obasanjo a congratulatory message was on January 21 to celebrate the ex-President’s acquisition of a PhD at the National Open University (NOUN). Two days later, OBJ replied with a hot letter criticizing the president’s performance so far.
