Me I really see nothing wrong with the exercise. An Igbo adage says that “a man who goes about boasting that he planted 500 mounds of yam, when he actually planted 100 mounds, by the time he ends up harvesting the 100 which are real, he will start harvesting the imaginary and fictitious 400”. So let’s please allow our own brothers digest the proceeds of a successful trade.
I see nothing wrong with anybody endorsing anybody. Endorsement is an old format. It didn’t start today and won’t end today. Reagan sat down in his house, packaged and lured others into the racket, they threw it, Oga fell for it and they smiled to the bank. Its their luck, try your own.
The area I am interested in, is this last part of the communique, and the threats accompanying them. Except OVI is afraid to go to the polls, he shouldn’t have allowed Reagan and his co-travellers to entangled him in the web of this very obnoxious decree. It is unheard of, undemocratic, devilish and should be condemned by any progressive.
Endorsing Ikpeazu is their rights but they shouldn’t in an attempt to enjoy their own rights, trample on that of other people!.
I want to end by asking this question. What is the motive behind brandishing those Native Doctors who paraded the event?
There are several issues we shall be discussing as contained in that communique.
