These pictures were taken in Kano state. This state is believed to be one of the states where Buhari got the highest vote counts during the last election. The former governor of Kano state Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso who delivered this state to his party the APC after decamping from the PDP has parted ways with his successor Unarmed Ganduje
The political rift is believed to be connected with the relationship between the immediate past governor Mr Kwankwaso and his supporters and that of the incumbent governor Mr Abdulahi Umar Ganduje.
It is also believed that the overwhelming votes the president got from the state in the last Presidential elections in 2015 may not remain the same as a result of factionalization of the APC in the state between the two bigwigs.
From the pictures it can be gathered that the electorates are not happy with the Buhari administration which has left so many economically stranded and politically irrelevant. The mob destroyed cars which had the president pictures emboldened. There’s palpable fear that he may not win the state in the future should he decide to contest the report says.
