Release Abacity blog to us or we shut down Umuahia tomorrow, OMPAN threatens.
The association of Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria, Abia chapter had demanded for the release of her member and the editor of abacity blog, Mr.Ngozi Blessed Onwukwe who was abducted this morning on his way to an assignment.
Speaking in Umuahia the capital of Abia state, the chapter president Mr Emeh James Anyalekwa insisted that from investigation so far conducted all accusing fingers are pointing at government quarters over the unfortunate incident.
He said that it is rather unfortunate that Abia state government will choose to stifle the media rather than develop the state, he further stated that no amount of threat or intimidation will break or stop us from telling the truth to power.
The association gave the Abia state government and the security operatives 23.59 hours to produce Ngozi Blessed Onwukwe or we will shut down Umuahia.
