Abia state Board of Internal revenue today sealed up the entrance of Michael Okpara University Of Agriculture, Umudike Abia State (MOUAU) thereby preventing staff and students of the school from gaining entrance into the school environment.
IGBERE TV learnt that this is not unconnected with the inability of the school to remit the sum of N120,751,998.28 due to the board.
The one hundred and twenty million, seven hundred and fifty one thousand, nine hundred and fifty eight naira, twenty eight kobo debt has brought academic activities in the school to a halt, a development the students describe as worrisome and disappointing.
