There is an ongoing pandemonium at Ebonyi state university Abakaliki as student engaged in a fierce protest over poor power supply.
IgbereTv reporter Wisdom Nwedene who has been following the trends at EBSU confirms that for the past one month, the institution have been in total blackout without electricity. he further reports that the EEDC having refuses to bring light still insist lodges must pay for the unused electricity bills.
The inconsistency and failure of EEDC to bring light for the past one month sparks protest today (friday) at the streets of the the campus.

IgbereTv learnt that police who were drafted to control the crowd in turns opens sporadic shooting as some student may have sustain a gunshot injury, although no report of dead has been recorded as at the press time.
Reacting to the incidence, Wisdom condemns the ongoing incessant arrest of students who were merely expressing their views and dissatisfaction and calls for school authority to look into the case before it causes more damages.
