Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has been out for some time now due to back injury. The former Real Madrid frontman has missed Chelsea’s last five games but he appeared in decent shape in a video shared by his wife Alice Campello on Sunday.
Footage posted on Instagram showed Morata and Campello dancing. It is unclear when it was filmed, but that did not stop many fans voicing their disapproval after seeing Morata twirl and then lift his partner, who is pregnant with their first child.
Chelsea — who host West Brom on Monday night — have struggled in Morata’s absence, losing three of their last five games since he was involved.
Prior to his latest spell on the sidelines, the 25-year-old had netted 10 goals in 20 Premier League appearances.
