Following the controversy trailing the absence of a National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, at a meeting of APC Chieftains recently with President Muhammadu Buhari which held at the Presidential Villa, the former Lagos State Governor in His reaction has stated that it was unnecessary for him to be there.
The Punch reports that Tinubu who spoke through His Media Aide, Tunde Rahman said:
“There shouldn’t be any issue about this at all.
“Why are you trying to make a mountain out of a molehill?
“If there was a need for Asiwaju Tinubu to attend the dinner, he would not hesitate to be there.
“He had attended many meetings and dinners at the Presidential Villa before when it was required of him to attend.”
IGBERE TV recalls that the dinner with President Buhari last week had in attendance, APC Chieftains including former governors of Sokoto, Kano, Abia and Enugu, Senator Aliyu Wamako, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, Orji Kalu and Sullivan Chime among others.
