The 6th Women’s Guild and Triennial Conference of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria which held from the 6th of September to the 10th of September featured over 3000 women and participants who came from across the country and outside the country to pray, and form platforms for the growth and development of unstoppable women in the church/body of Christ.
The programme which was tagged “women you are unstoppable” played host to the honour of special people who have been termed outstanding in their professions and for their immense contributions to God.
The Assistant Comptroller of Nigeria Customs, Chief Ukonu Anyaogu (Achi N’agbara Oha I of Igbere) was amongst the few that was recognised and giving awarded.
According to Desk Cordinator Rev. Ulari, chief Ukonu have been outstanding in his contributions to God’s work and his support for women. She stressed the need for support for the church and explained the various contribution that has been made by the awardee.
In acceptance to the award the awardee chief Ukonu Anyaogu promised not only to continue in his support for the church but to support women. He thanked the church for the offer of awards,he promised not to rellent in service but to continue in his service to God and man.
Also honoured was the Former Governor of Abia State Chief Dr Orji Uzor Kalu who was awarded ‘kingdom Builder’.
The former Chief of Staff and permanent secretary, Government House Umuahia, Rev Jemima Kalu, was awarded ‘Faithful Servant of God’.
