The recent report of the people we called our political leaders denying the facts that has already been published by an international community is very pathetic.
A report published by The Sun , stated that South-East governors has denied ever condemning the killing of their sons and daughters by the order from Nigeria federal government led by President Muhammadu Buhari
Recall that there is a report credited to one Osita, which alleged that the South-East governor’s forum met in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, where they accused the federal government of brutality on Nd’Igbo by killing the IPOB members for demanding the restoration of the sovereign state of Biafra.
Reacting over the report, South-East governors forum denied the report, adding that they can never make such statement.
But who are they afraid of? Are they not under same oath of the federal republic of Nigeria like that of their counterpart, Mr. Ayodele Fayose?
For instance, when the menace of Fulani Herdsmen escalated, they invaded Ekiti State, clashed with farmers, injured several – the state governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, furiously rose up and signed a bill into law which prohibited the herdsmen from entering Ekiti, and such bill forced the menace to stop.
Same incidents happened in South-East, it was very brutal, villagers were sacked, many killed, houses were burned down – some of the state governors who their constituents were killed and butchered could not do anything, not even signed a bill into law to prohibit the herdsmen, rather, some resorted into crying up like babies.
That’s the kind of governors we have in the South-East.
The question is, who are they afraid of? Are they not under same oath with the Ekiti State governor under the federal republic of Nigeria?
What will happened to our own governors when they take such measure? Why are they afraid to stand up on their feet.
The denial of the recent report which allegedly credited to them of attacking the federal government for killing their sons and daughters over agitation for Biafra nation is one of the reasons we think they’re afraid of something we don’t know.
For all we know, a big human right organisation like Amnesty International, AI, has already published a video evidence of how members of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, were killed by the men of Nigeria military and the Police force for demonstrating their human right.
Who are the South-East governors afraid of?
