Obasanjo, Babangida, Jonathan, Called To Hold Emergency Meeting, Over Buhari

There are strong reports circulating around, that some elders statesmen are planning to meet, over the purported call for President Muhamamdu Buhari’s immediate resignation.

The statesmen are: former Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo, Ibrahim Babangida Badamosi, Goodluck Jonathan, among others.

This shocking disclosure came on Thursday, at the time the former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, made a passionate plea to all the elder statesmen in the country, to speak out and prevail on Buhari to resign on poor health grounds, in the overall interest of the nation.

Fielding questions from Newsmen in Abuja, on Thursday, Fani-Kayode said that this would allow for another ‎capable hand to “take over from him, and direct the affairs of the country properly.”

According to him: “The Buhari we knew, was not the Buhari that returned to the country on Saturday; the new Buhari cannot operate ‎in his office, because of rats and rodents.

“The new Buhari cancelled the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting, ‎which was very important for good governance, only for him to choose to receive the report of an administrative panel.

“The new Buhari that we are seeing now is still very much sick, weak, fray, and unstable; nobody wishes him dead, but the option left for him now is for him to resign, go to rest with his beautiful wife and the children, for the rest of his life.

“Buhari was a courageous and honest man to the core, but the new Buhari, just an overnight protest in London over his continued absence from office over three months, he quickly rushed home ‎the second day.

“The new Buhari could not make a live broadcast to the nation as he used to do, the broadcast he made to the nation on Monday was recorded, and it only lasted Six minutes.

“I still stand by my words on his state of health, he is not fit and stable to do, and the meaningful thing now, is calling on all those who love him to urge him to resign and go home, another person will continue. Buhari is not well enough to go to the office.

“Am disturbed that our elders’ statesmen are not talking over the matter, but my thinking is that maybe they have even giving him their wise talks behind the scene, but the time has come for them to speak out.

“The worst that can happen is to kill or lock them up, what have we not see? We have done before and we are ready to do it again if the need be; nobody can silence Nigerians from expressing their views.

“Those cabals running the affairs of the country on his behalf, will be held responsible if anything happens to him, God forbid if anything bad happens to him, people will start to kill and maim, and be destroying properties of innocent citizen here and there.

“These cabals should leave him alone, the Nigeria of 1954 is not that of Nigeria of 2017, it has never happened in the history of Nigeria or anywhere in the world, that rats and rodents are chasing away a sitting President from his or her office.

“Nigeria is now a laughing stock before the international Community, this is embarrassing and unacceptable, if he fails to resign or not, the PDP will kick out the APC government, come 2019, because the party came to power by accident, fake promises, and hate speeches
