Former militant leader, Asari Dokubo, on Wednesday mocked President Muhammadu Buhari over claims that rodents caused some destruction in his office.
Following his return from London, the Presidency had said Buhari cannot work from his office due to destruction caused by rodents.
Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu had disclosed that the president would work from home because his office was undergoing renovation due to destruction by rodents.
However, the former militant leader described the presidency’s claim as a shame on Nigeria.
In a video, Dokubo said, “It is a shame to Nigeria to report Buhari’s rat incident to BBC.
“They told us that the Lion King was coming to chase out hyenas and other animals, little wonder did we know that rat took the challenge and chased him out of his office.
“When my friend told me that the rat incident was reported by BBC, I was ashamed of Nigeria. This is good though because he who the gods have rejected everything on earth will reject the person until even rat has rejected you, Buhari.
“When will you learn, you want to be like Pharaoh, you want to continue to harden your heart, your time has come to just walk away quietly now that most people don’t know you are a cold man per excellence, but you refuse to walk away, instead you ordered Service Chiefs to threaten us, saying you will kill us, we are watching.”
