It was massive jubilation, as a video trending online revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari, has been reportedly smuggled out of Abuja House, London, as protesters keep vigil at the front gate of the building, with candlelight.
In the video Buhari’s family members where sighted packing their luggage inside a vehicle, as the protesters crowded the gate of the Abuja House, demanding that the President must go back to Nigeria.
Later, footages were seen as Buhari’s entourage started packing their bags and leaving the House, with a voice over saying that it was Aisha Buhari leaving and going back to Nigeria.
Recall, that Buhari has spent over 100 days in the diaspora, for the purpose of treating an undisclosed ailment.
Before departing Nigeria on May, 7, he had constitutionally handed over to his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo, as an Acting President.
We had earlier reported that the United Kingdom Police granted permits to Nigerians in London, to embark on a procession and night vigil against the continued stay of Buhari in the “Abuja House”, in London.
The protest is expected to continue for seven days.
