The Clerk of the House, Ikeja Local Government Area, Mr. Shamsideen Omotayo, has been kidnapped by gunmen in Imota, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Olarinde Famous-Cole, confirmed the incident to newsmen.
“Details of the abduction is still sketchy,” he said.
It was learnt that the kidnappers laid ambush for the clerk on his way to the office on Wednesday morning.
