Just In!! Biafra: IPOB Reveals Source Of Finance, Blasts Magu

The Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has dismissed insinuations by the Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, that its being sponsored by corrupt politicians.

The pro-Biafra group described Magu’s assertion as “latest joke of the year designed to keep the chattering classes happy.”

IPOB maintained that no politician has ever contributed a “dime” to its activities.

In a statement sent to DAILY POST by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, on Tuesday, the group disclosed that its activities are sponsored through voluntary donations from its members worldwide.

The statement reads in part, “No politician or elite has ever contributed a dime to IPOB and they will never, we are more harder on local politician than the outsiders and most of IPOB finances come from monthly and voluntary contribution from our members worldwide.

“The laughable notion by Magu the embattled EFCC boss and his cohorts that IPOB is being sponsored by corrupt politicians and looters in Nigeria is the latest joke of the year designed to keep the chattering classes happy, we are IPOB, therefore, self finances is the key within the struggle for Biafra independence.”

Magu had recently asserted that corrupt politicians were using proceeds of their loots to sponsor the various agitation across the country.

The EFCC czar had claimed that the aim was to destabilise the current Buhari-led Federal Government.
