The former mister said this in reaction to the threat made recently by some northern groups.
Fani Kayode says there will be grave consequences if the northerners execute their threat of kicking the Igbos out of their states
Igbere TV had earlier reported that Igbo people in the north have been given three months to leave the region as the clamour for Biafra continues to gain momentum.
The quit notice to all the Igbos in the region came from the Coalition of Northern Youths (CNY).
Igbere TV learnt that the group also urged northern people in the south-eastern part of the country to immediately start moving back to their various states.
In his tweets, Fani Kayode said kicking the Igbos out of the north will not help matters in the country.
He said: “Threatening the Igbo and kicking them out of the north won’t help. This time round the Middle Belt and the whole south will stand with them.”
“We want peace by restructuring and not violence. Unleashing genocide against the Igbo or anyone else in north will have grave consequences,” he added.
