SHOCKING!!! Fulani Herdsmen & Their Sponsors Finally Revealed (Photos)

The governor of Edo state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has said that killer herdsmen known for their nefarious acts of raping and killing of women and farmers in the state are terrorists who had fled from Boko Haram camps.

Obaseki said this on Wednesday when he visited the families of the two aged women who were killed by this group of terrorists in their farm.

He further explained that the killers weren’t ordinary herdsmen but were Boko Haram fighters who had fled from the war in North Eastern states.

The two women identified as Matina Omonyon and Christiana Ariu were said to have been raped and killed in their farms in the Ewu community, Esan Central Local Government Area of the State.

The people of the community lamented that they were living in fear and afraid to go to their farms. There had also been several complaints from residents in many rural communities over attacks by group of armed men suspected to be herdsmen.

The Ijiegbai of Ekperi, Deke Yakubu Kanoba had in past months raised alarm that his subjects might not engage in farming this year over fear of attacks by the heardsmen. Kanoba who spoke during a meeting of the eminent persons forum with the Commissioner of Police, Mr. Halima Gwandu reported that these herdsmen were armed with AK47 rifles.

However, Obaseki assured the people of the area that the government will deal with the menace in no distant time.
