Unconfirmed report reaching Igberetvnews indicates that one of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Ministers is allegedly taking practical steps to marry one of the released Chibok girls after rehabilitation.
Recall that about 82 Chibok Girls where released recently by the Boko Haram insurgents in exchange for five Boko Haram top Commanders.
President Muhammadu Buhari had received then in the Presidential Villa before jetting out of the country on a follow up medication check-up.
Although at the time of going to the press, Igberetvnews was unable to confirm the name of the minister and the exact Chibok girl.
The source confided in Igberetvnews that the arranged marriage is expected to be carried out secretly to avoid public outrage considering that the girl in question is a minor.
“We are hearing rumours that a particular minister under this current administration is planning marry on of the released Chibok girls. The marriage plan is secretly going on,’’ the source.
The source inability to mention the name of the minister and the Chibok girl made our correspondent to reach out to the Former Education Minister and Co-Convener of Bring Back Our Girls Campaign group, Obiageli Ezekwesili but her number was switch off.
