On Thursday the 11th of May 2017, IBB’s last child, Halima Babangida will tie the nuptial knot in Minna Niger state.
The 3-day event which is expected to attract creme de la creme of the society will run from Wednesday to Friday.
Insiders revealed that Halima will become the wife of one Alhaji Lawal, a wealthy Gombe-born businessman.
While plans are ongoing to make Halima and Lawal’s wedding a success, the ex-ruler is battling an undisclosed ailment which has kept him home-bound in the past 6 months.
A very close source to IBB family confirmed that the serious illness is behind his aging problem and sagging skin.
