Nnamdi Kanu visits Enugu, appreciates woman who vacated her presidential seat for him [Photos]

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Nnamdi Kanu on Monday, May 8, paid a courtesy visit to the Eastern Consultative Forum (ECA) in Enugu state.

The IPOB leader was received by the vice president of the assembly Mary Okwor, Professor Elo Amucheazi, Uko Elliot, Reverend Father John Odey among many others.

IgbereTv recalls that Kanu was appointed as the president of the ECA during his stay at Kuje Prison in Abuja.

The then president of the assembly, Okwor, had vacated her seat for the IPB leader and took the position of the vice president.

Kanu paid a courtesy visit to the group in appreciation of their efforts towards his release

The group in a statement had said that the IPOB leader was appointed the president of the group in recognition of his achievements in the South-East.

Two months ago ago, Kanu was appointed the president of the ECA, a position vacated for him by the assembly’s former president Mary Okwor

Kanu who was released after a year and six months in detention has also visited many individuals and group including the deputy senate president Ike Ekweremadu and a former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode.

IPOB leader was appointed the president of the group in recognition of his achievements in the South-East.

The visits gathered is in appreciation of the effort and roles played by these individuals to ensure his release from the prison.
