Prayer is one of the vital or crucial ways in which we Christians communicate with God or ask him for something. 
But it’s sad that many Christians fail to comply by the principles set up by the person whom we Christians imitate his ways and want to live like him which is why we are called Christians which means ”Christ like ”. When Jesus Christ was on earth, he asked his Disciples not to be like the hypocrites, for they like to pray standing in the Synagogue and on the corners of the main streets to be seen by men. Jesus went ahead and told them, Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full. Matthew 6vs 5. Jesus knows the importance of praying in secret places, that’s why each time he wants to pray, he always went to place that’s why quite and cool. Remember the night he was captured? Jesus wants us to imitate this act by not being like the hypocrites.
Now lets still look at the same Matthew chapter 6,this time vs 6 – 8. But when you pray, go into your private room and after shutting your door, pray to your father who is in secret. Then your father who looks on in secret will repay you. When praying, do not say the same things over and over again as the people of the nation do, for they imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words. So do not be like them, for your father knows what you need even before you ask him.
I hope with all this, you have been able to notice that God in heaven wants our prayers to always be in secret, straightforward and concise. Don’t forget that God in heaven loves you and that’s why he says that even if your sins are as black as charcoal, that you should come to him and he will make it to be as white as the snow. Faith in God is also important
