A 31-year-old farmer known as Abdul Salam,was caught by police on Tuesday 25 April for allegedly butchering his son in order to sell his body parts for money.
The incident took place at Adidaase near Amanso Amenfi in Wassa Amenfi of western region, Ghana.
An eyewitness told Energy fm of Prestea that the boy was missing and this got the involvement of the unity committee of the area to conduct a search of the little boy.
While the search was going on, it happened that the father Abdul Salam butchered his son and removed some part of him.
When interrogated Mr Salam confessed to the crime, said he murdered his son and took some parts to sell, specifically his head and leg.
