YOU HAVE NO EVIDENCE TO JAIL NNAMDI KANU, JUSTICE BINTA NYAKO BLAST NIGERIA PROSECUTING COUNSEL.
In whats seems like a dramatic twist in the law court today, Justice Binta nyako has slammed Nigeria prosecuting counsels for not having any evidence against Nnamdi Kanu. IgbereTv Reports.
In part of her ruling she said: I have three separate applications before me, except that of the third defendants. The prosecution have not placed any evidence before the court, to back up the charges that (1) Ipob is an unlawful society, though is not registered in Nigeria. I hereby strike out, Count 3,5,7,9,10 and 11. But, Count 1,2,4,6 and 8 stands. Ipob does not belong to an unlawful society. I will also put it before the court that, the only evidence the prosecutor have provided is, the statement the defendant made while broadcasting.
Meanwhile, Justice Binta Nyako sets March 2oth and 21st for ruling.
