Bashir Ahmad, the Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, has dismissed reports that the President, his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo and All Progressive Congress, APC, promised to make $1 equivalence of N1.
Rumour once had it that the Buhari’s APC, during 2015 Presidential campaign promised to make $1 equal N1.
Ahmaad made the denial on his Twitter handle
@BashirAhmaad while responding to some Nigerians.
A Twitter user by the name David Attah asked,
“Just for clarity. Did PMB, PYO or the APC campaign team ever promise to make N1 equal to $1?”
But responding, Ahmad said, “There was no such promise. Never!”
