Following the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari in Nigeria for over two week now, some section of Nigerians have concluded that the President might be in serious danger.
However, the Federal Government on Wednesday said Buhari is not in danger. Speaking after the Federal Executive Council presided over by the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said there is no cause for alarm.
“The President is well, hale and hearty. He is not in any way in danger. He is not ill and he is not in hospital,” he said.
The minister argued that if Buhari was in danger, ministers would not have been going about their duties the way they are doing. He insisted that rumours about Buhari’s death were false and being perpetrated by wicked people.
