JUST IN!!! British PM, Theresa May to Discuss Biafra Agitation with Trump During US Visit on Friday
Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Theresa May is set to lobby for a favourable diplomatic relationship between the Nigerian government led by president Muhammadu Buhari and the new administration of Mr. Donald Trump, president of the United States of America, during her first official visit to the White House, commencing on Friday January 27, 2017, a reliable source confides in Family Writers.
Theresa May will be the first European leader to visit Donald Trump after his inauguration as the 45th president of the United States. Meanwhile, a source which pleaded anonymity reveals that in the past few days, a top-secret meeting has been held between Nigeria Muslim President and former military dictator, Muhammadu Buhari and some top UK Officials, including Prime Minister Theresa May. It revealed that the classified meeting is centered on the fragile state of Nigeria as a country, caused by the inflamming agitation for the restoration of Biafra independence by the Indigenous People of Biafra, as well as the porous security situation in the country, caused by Niger Delta hostilities and activities of Islamic extremists and terrorists such as Boko Haram, and Fulani herdsmen.
“Top of Buhari’s demands from the Prime Minister is to secure the support of the new American government to the indivisibility of Nigeria, just as the British government has maintained over the years,” the source disclosed.
Going further, it noted that “President Buhari and the British government are worried over the growing friendly relationship between Biafrans and the Trump’s administration,
“and since the Nigeria President is already far from good terms with the Trump team, having shown some level of support to Hillary Clinton’s campaign during the elections, he has opted to go through the UK government to secure some favourable deals with the Trump’s administration at all cost.”
However, uncertainties have trailed this move, as a result of the recent arrests and killings of scores of Biafran activists who rallied in solidarity with Donald Trump on the day of his inauguration by the Nigeria security forces.
This, according to information gathered by Family Writers, has put the Nigerian government in a diplomatic cold war with Donald Trump’s administration.
Nigeria president, Muhammadu Buhari had last week flown out of the country, having announced that he is embarking on a 10day holiday to receive medical treatment abroad.
