A n*de painting of President Donald Trump by an Australian-American artist, Illma Gore, will be sold for 1 million pounds. The n*de painting shows Trump posing with his micro-penis very visible. The painting caused controversy last year and was banned on Facebook as Trump’s campaign team fought Gore over the art.
Maddox Gallery, in London, finally took on the controversy and put it up for public viewing on 11 April, where it remains. The piece was priced at £1m ($1.44m). Gore has pledged to donate a portion of the payment to Safe Place for Youth, a homeless shelter for youth in Los Angeles.
This week, it was also revealed that Trump is the first American president to star in a soft porn video.
Gore said she got beaten for the work by an American who felt it was insulting to then GOP candidate Trump. She said she was punched by someone chanting “Trump 2016” near her Los Angeles home.
Despite all odds, the artist said she planned to continue to sell the artwork, and that she would donate some of the money to a charity that supports homeless people.
