My Husband Does This to Me Whenever He is Drunk... - Frustrated Ekiti Woman Makes Shocking Revelation

A woman identified as Racheal Omotola on Thursday dragged her husband, Femi Omotola before an Ado-Ekiti Customary Court in Ekiti State for alleged threat to life and constant fighting.

The housewife sought for the dissolution of her 4-year-old marriage to her husband, claiming he had, on many occasions attempted to strangled her whenever he was angry or drunk.

Speaking before the President of the Court, Mrs. Olayinka Akomolede, the 46-year-old woman said,

“Our marriage is full of frequent fighting and lack of care.

“My husband always assaults me whenever there was a little misunderstanding between them.

“The constant battery by my husband resulted in miscarriage of my pregnancy a few months ago,” Racheal, who has no child for her husband, appealed to the court to dissolve the marriage, so she could have peace of mind.

But in his defense, the 39-year-old respondent said to the contrary, his wife was always the one slapping him and tearing his clothes whenever they had any misunderstanding.

The carpenter said he retaliated once after his wife slapped him over a minor issue, but that he later apologized to her.

He said, “We are always having issues over my wife’s refusal to join me in Ikare, Ondo State from Ado-Ekiti, where she works in a maternity home in a church but she prefers her job to her matrimonial duties and is also not interested in raising a family.

“My wife is no longer faithful to me as she is currently dating another man in the church where she is working,” Femi added, even as he consented to the dissolution.

He appealed to the court to compel his wife to refund N450, 000 being the amount he allegedly spent on her and the expenses he incurred when they married in 2012.

In her ruling, Akomolede adjourned the case till February 9 for further hearing.
