The young soldier pictured above died while in active service. It was reported on Facebook this morning, 18th of January, 2016 with condolence messages pouring in from friends and loved ones.
The cause of her demise is currently unknown. It would be recalled that several Nigerian soldiers have been lost to the Boko Haram insurgence in recent times.
“Pls let’s always pray for our soldiers. They are often times under the rain, sun, mosquito-infested region. Prone to the attacks of the enemy, dodging bullets and living today to prolly die tomorrow” a sympathetic social media user said.
