Simply recognised as De Nwankwo, the staff of the state ministry of Lands and Survey, according to source, alleged that he was being owed salary for five months. This made life difficult for him, the note he left behind indicated.
“I have no other place to go, no hope, nothing to give to my children to eat and no salary for the past five months, I am sorry I have to do this,” the short note, which is now with the Ehimiri Police Station, reads.
