Biafra: See What Buhari Has Ordered Media Houses to Report After Tomorrow’s Secret Trial of Kanu
As the Buhari led Federal Government of Nigeria “decreed” and In(justice) Binta Nyako court ordered secret trial of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and 3 Others slated for January 10th and 11th, 2017, approaches, Buhari is through the “media Hawks in the Presidency” currently ordering (and sometimes inducing) the media houses in the country and beyond to report the trial as “partial shielding of witnesses” instead of secret trial that the government “decreed” and the court truly ordered.
The aim of the presidency according to our source is to confuse the public and make the Biafrans who have been voicing their rejection of the secret trial as those who are making a mountain out of a molehill and make the accused appear as the villains should they reject the decreed secret trial.
Our source who had gone to one of the media houses to see a childhood friend, Timothy Chukwu (not real name) met him with a man who Timothy will later introduce as “one of the media Hawks from the presidency”. Who according to him (Timothy) interfaces “notoriously” for the presidency on how they want information reported.
Off course, Timothy was skeptical of how the secret trial can be reported as being “partial shielding of witnesses” without the public accusing his organisation of being compromised especially since the case has generated a lot of interest and commanded a worldwide following.
However, the media Hawk made it known that it can be done that all that needed to be done was for the same route that the media houses used in “repackaging” a tyrant and a dictator like the current President of the country, Muhammadu Buhari and selling him to the public as a repentant democrat to the public to be followed.
He believes that if the secret trial is reported as a “partial shielding of witnesses” constantly for just 2 weeks that it will change the narrative and may restore the battered imagine of the President and the Justice Binta Nyako (who had while delivering the ruling on the secret trial claimed that the court belongs to her and she can do whatever she wishes) and everybody will smile to the bank.
The media Hawk specifically asked Timothy to check out how “Premium Times” has been reporting the secret trial as a “partial shielding of witnesses” if he is in doubt that it can be done or needs a lead on how it can be done.
However, the request by Timothy to how if Premium Times as been “settled” for her to be amongst the pilot platforms for the task proved abortive as he (the presidency media Hawk man) simply smiled on his way out of the office promising to call back Timothy to know if he has accepted to “Play Ball”.
