He said the man raised alarm, which attracted passersby, motorcycle riders and FRSC officials who rushed to the scene to have a glimpse of the mutilated body of the boy.

Our  reporter learnt that the boy, whose identity was still unknown, might have been kidnapped elsewhere, before the suspected ritual killers took him under the bridge and removed his private organs.

When contacted, the Gwagwalada Divisional Police Crime Officer, Philips K. Dogo, confirmed the incident through telephone call, but said he was not aware if any part of the body of the boy was removed.

“In fact, it was even the Aguma of Gwagwalada, Alhaji Muhammad Magaji, that phoned me that a mutilated body of a child was found under the bridge, and I quickly mobilised my men to go with a photographer to take a shot of the corpse,” he said.

He said the corpse had been deposited at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital morgue at Gwagwalada, while the police were investigating the incident.
