IPOB WILL VEHEMENTLY OPPOSE JUSTICE JOHN TOSHO’S INJUSTICE
There is need to state clearly that IPOB will vehemently oppose any injustice against her leader, the people of Biafra will not fold hands and watch while their leader is molested and jailed for nothing. It should be in record that we have endured much more than should be endured, Biafrans are murdered like fowls every day, forced to disappear, incarcerated and holding our leader who has done nothing is affront on our people and everything we believe in.
We are law-abiding, peaceful and tender people, Nigerian government and her people have seen our meekness and civil approach as weakness. Hence we are being abused, intimidated and cajoled with. They have quickly forgotten that we are Biafrans that Biafrans of 1967 that stood genocide with bare hands, that Biafrans scattered all over the world. They have quickly forgotten we are Biafrans that are ready to die, that come out on the street to protest after each round of massacre. We are that fearless Biafrans that fear not the devil and would sure take the bull by its horn should Justice John Tosho unjustly imprison our leader that only talked and demanded Biafra. We wonder where talking is a crime and which part of the world is freedom of speech treason.
In the build up to the judgment, we have seen irregularities on the side of the trial judge aimed at frustrating and making sure he solely jails our leader. After the ruling on bail application filed before Justice John Tosho which was clearly biased, having ruled in favour of Muhammed Buhari, we have no option but to tell the world and disclose his partiality. Recall that it takes 14 days to file an appeal and to file an appeal, the trial judge must sign his ruling. Meanwhile, after his ruling, instead of John Tosho to sign his judgment to enable the defence council to file an appeal, John Tosho only delayed and frustrated our defence team to enable time for appeal to elapse before he signs his judgment. Every effort to get the trial Judge to sign his ruling was futile as he continued giving one flimsy excuse and the other. Until there was an uproar in the last hours for him to sign his ruling he did not sign the ruling.
