Explosions were reportedly heard near Iran’s Kharg Island on Saturday, with Iranian media claiming that an Iranian oil tanker came under a US missile attack.

According to reports from Iranian media, the tanker was struck by four US missiles near the island. The crew was reportedly evacuated, and no casualties have been reported.
Fars News Agency initially reported that explosions were heard near Kharg Island, while Tasnim later reported the alleged missile strike.
The United States has not yet officially confirmed that it carried out the attack.
Kharg Island is a strategically important Iranian oil terminal and a major hub for the country’s crude oil exports.
