NFF Agree To Record $8.5 Milliom Annual Adidas Deal For Nigeria

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has agreed a new $8.5 million annual partnership with Adidas, which will see the German sportswear giant become the new kit supplier for Nigeria’s national teams from 2027.

The reported deal is worth $4.5 million in annual cash payments to the NFF, while Adidas will provide another $4 million worth of kits and equipment for Nigeria’s national teams. The agreement will also reportedly give the federation a 20% share of merchandise sales through Adidas’ Nigerian retail network.

The partnership will bring an end to Nigeria’s current relationship with Nike, whose kit contract runs until the end of 2026. Adidas previously supplied Nigeria before Nike took over in 2015.

The new agreement is being presented as a major commercial boost for Nigerian football and could provide additional resources for the Super Eagles, Super Falcons and the country’s youth national teams.
