The Lagos-Ibadan Expressway is currently at a complete standstill, with no movement at all along the affected sections of the road.
A man has taken to social media to warn travellers and other road users who may be planning to travel from Lagos to Ibadan or Sagamu to abort their journey for now until the traffic situation improves.
In the video, vehicles can be seen completely stuck in traffic on both sides of the expressway, with motorists unable to make any meaningful movement.
Travellers planning to use the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway are therefore advised to take note of the situation and reconsider their journey until the road is free and normal movement resumes.
