"It is God, not Tinubu, who is the solution to Nigeria's insecurity problems." - Says Pastor Kumuyi

The General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, has called on Nigerians to seek God’s intervention in addressing the country’s growing insecurity, saying divine help remains the ultimate solution to the nation’s challenges.

Speaking with journalists after a courtesy visit to the Benue State Government House ahead of the Global Crusade in Gboko and Otukpo Local Government Areas, Kumuyi acknowledged that although people may be responsible for acts of violence, lasting solutions can only come from God.

“We know that, when bad things happen, there are people who are responsible for it, but the people are not the solution. God is our problem solver,” he said.

The cleric urged Nigerians to turn back to God, saying He is ready to intervene if His people humble themselves, repent and seek Him.

“God is waiting for us. He said, ‘If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and turn away from their sins,’ He is ready to solve their problems,” Kumuyi added.

According to him, the week-long Global Crusade in Gboko and Otukpo is aimed at encouraging people to return to God and seek His help during these difficult times.

Kumuyi also commended the progress being made in Benue State, particularly in infrastructure and education, despite the security challenges facing the state. He expressed hope that continued faith in God, alongside ongoing efforts by the government, would contribute to lasting peace and development.
