President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent a high-level delegation, including the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Femi Gbajabiamila to Oriire Local Government Area in Oyo State, two weeks after terrorists attacked the community.
Recall that terrorists stormed the community and abducted over 45 students and 6 teachers, along with the principal.

The attack reportedly occurred between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m at Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele and Yawota Baptist Nursery and Primary School.
According to a video circulating online, a campaign vehicle was sighted as the delegation arrived at the community.
Speaking on the visit, Special Adviser, Media and Public Communication to President Bola Tinubu, Sunday Dare, on his X page stated that President Tinubu has initiated a series of coordinated efforts to secure the release of the victims and arrest the assailants.
He wrote, “A powerful Presidential Delegation just arrived Ogbomoso enroute to the villages of Esiele and Yawota where armed men simultaneously raided Baptist Nursery and Primary schools seizing about 46 pupils and teachers. The area falls within the Orire local government, Ogbomosho axis of Oyo State The delegation is led by the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila – Chief of Staff,IGP Tunde Disu – Inspector General of Police, Rt. General, Christopher Musa – Minister of Defence, Joseph Tegbe – Minister of Power and Sunday Dare – Special Adviser on Public Communications.
President Tinubu since set in motion series of coordinated efforts to free the victims and arrest the kidnappers.”
The visit comes hours after Governor Seyi Makinde visited the community and met with the families of the victims.
