Dear Hon. Nafi’u Bala Gombe,
I hereby resign from my position as Acting National Youth Leader of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), effective immediately.
This decision is due to the persistent insults and hostile attacks I have been subjected to on social media because of my association with your faction. One incident that deeply troubled me was a public statement wishing that Allah SWT deal with me and my entire family in the same manner as Pharaoh and his people at the Red Sea.
As someone who holds strong beliefs in the power of prayers, I cannot ignore such words or the weight they carry. Some of these remarks have extended to harmful prayers against me and my family, which I cannot overlook. I value my peace and the well-being of my family above all.
