A renowned broadcast journalist, Regina Obasi is dead. This was according to a post made on her Facebook profile by her family.
The post read thus,
“It is with deep sadness that we(the family) announce the sudden passing of Regina Adanma Obasi Sunday.”
“This heartbreaking news has left family, friends, and loved ones in shock and sorrow. We ask everyone to keep the family in your prayers during this difficult time.
May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace. 🕊️💔”.
Gripped by shock and disbelief, our source dialled her phone number tonight, only for it to be picked by her husband who confirmed her death. According to him, she wasn’t sick but suddenly slumped on Monday, and she was rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
Late Mrs Regina Obasi worked with the defunct Ebonyi Broadcasting Service (EBBS) and thereafter Glorious Fm, Abakaliki.
