Reps Aspirant Sarah Adidi Bags Award For Mentorship, Boy-Child Advocacy

Hon. Sarah Ivie Adidi, a development economist and youth advocate, has received award of excellence in Mentorship & Leadership for Boy Child, ABUJAPRESS reports.

The AfriCulture Fashion Show Award, which took place at Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja was organised by Global Awareness for Development Initiatives (GLADI).

The colourful event transcends a typical fashion gala, positioning itself as a powerful platform for cultural dialogue and social advocacy under the theme: “Empowering the African Boy Child Towards a Balanced Future.”

It was the coming together of top shots in high fashion, political leadership, and humanitarian discourse, an extraordinary assembly of Nigeria’s most influential figures.

AfriCulture is a celebration of continental unity and creative diversity. Designers and models from across Africa were present to showcase collections that weave traditional heritage with contemporary design.

Among countries present include, Egypt, Liberia, Uganda, Rwanda, Botswana, Sierra Leone, Ghana, and Nigeria, turning a runway into a vibrant tapestry of African identity and sartorial innovation.

Hon. Sarah Ivie Adidi, was recognised for her advocacy for boy child and efforts towards improving their welfare.

Hon. Adidi is aspiring to represent AMAC/Bwari Federal Constituency of the Federal Capital Territory at the House of Representatives in 2027. She enjoys an overwhelming support among the youth and women.

She prides herself as competent and forward-looking, and one who understands both the complexities of modern governance and the everyday realities of the people.

Her supporters argue that her expertise as Programme Coordinator in the Statistics Department of a leading development finance institution could be valuable for a constituency like AMAC/Bwari, which is one of the most diverse in the Federal Capital Territory.

She had earlier bagged award of Young Female Politician of the Year, presented to her by Her Excellence Conference and Awards (HECA) at Carlton Hotel & Apartment in Asokoro in commemoration of the International Women’s Day.

She has also received invitation for the upcoming Inspire Her International Conference and Awards (IHICA) in April this year.

She has received lots of congratulatory messages from friends and associates in recognition of the latest Excellence in Mentorship & Leadership for Boy Child award.
