Bongorians are crying that their favorite didn’t win. It’s Tyla that won. Once it’s not their favorite, grammy is partial.

You may say they don’t identify as Nigerians but let’s face it.
Davido is a US citizen. Born in the US, right? Cool. If Of course he returned to have his fan base in Nigeria. He studied in Nigeria and a full-Nigerian too. Iconic. Don’t smoke it, I love Davido and his craft. I love Wizkid and his craft. I don’t do the useless FC and gang bullshiit. I love every artist who projects our culture out there. I may disagree with character but art is art.
Now, let’s get deeper.
Collins Obinna Chibueze who’s popularly known as Shaboozey, is a Nigerian-American singer and rapper. He is Igbo. He won grammy this year. His name Chibueze is coined to stage name as Shaboozey. The US Mission to Nigeria celebrated him a few days ago.
Tyler Gregory Okonma popular known as Tyler the Creator, is an Igbo man. He won grammy this year.
Cynthia Chinasaokwu Onyedinmanasu Owezuke Amarachukwu Echimino Erivo popularly known as Cynthia Erivo won grammy this year. She’s Igbo.
Three Igbo won grammy award this year. Let’s that stick. Igbo is not a country but identity. Check from their names to find out. They may be Americans and British by allegiance but Igbo by identity. Name is an identity. Ancestry is an identity. They may dropped Nigeria but not Igbo, hence they didn’t drop their names.
It’s what it’s.
I paused!
