Construction work is progressing steadily on the Gidan Madi axis of the Sokoto–Badagry Road Project, a key infrastructure initiative under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
The section, which spans approximately 60 to 65 kilometers, is witnessing active construction across multiple points.
While bush clearing and excavation are currently ongoing in some areas, stone laying and other foundational works are being carried out in other sections.
Heavy-duty equipment, including Caterpillar machines, is also on site, preparing the road corridor for subsequent phases of construction
