Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State joined operatives of the state’s Forest Guards during a training session on Wednesday, where he was spotted test-firing a rifle.

The governor, who visited the training grounds in the company of senior security officials, personally observed the guards’ drills and took part in some of the exercises.
In the video making rounds online, Bago was seen handling the firearm confidently, while taking several shots, attracting attention from both trainees and media personnel present.
