The sparks from the fireworks reportedly came into contact with flammable materials within the premises, triggering a fire outbreak.
Videos shared online captured moments of panic as guests hurriedly evacuated the building amid thick smoke, while hotel staff and emergency responders moved quickly to contain the situation. The fire was reportedly brought under control before it could spread further within the facility.
As of the time of filing this report, no fatalities have been confirmed. However, some guests were said to have received medical attention for shock and minor injuries sustained during the evacuation.
