A sociopath-political organization, Abia North Peace Foundation (ANPF) has called on Alex Otti, to urgently caution Chief David Ogba Onuoha, over what it described as “reckless political rhetoric” capable of overheating the polity in Abia State.

ANPF, in a statement issued on Wednesday by its Director-General and elder statesman, Chief Nnanna Ukaegbu, accused Onuoha of seeking political relevance through the weaponisation of insecurity, warning that such conduct could set Abia North ablaze politically if left unchecked.
The group said it was alarmed that Onuoha had allegedly chosen to “toe the path of politicians rejected by the people of Abia North,” adding that past attempts to polarise insecurity in the zone had failed and should not be recycled.
According to the statement, previous efforts by some political actors to link the kidnapping incident in Lokpanta to Orji Uzor Kalu were rejected by the electorate, noting that “the people saw through the script and dismissed it as politics of desperation.”
ANPF said it was therefore “surprised and disappointed” that Onuoha had now resorted to invoking Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) against Senator Orji Uzor Kalu as a campaign tool, describing the move as “an insult to the intelligence of the people of Abia North.”
“It is unfortunate that a known clannish and divisive figure, who has nothing concrete to campaign with, now seeks to exploit a sensitive national issue for personal ambition,” the group said.
The foundation further questioned Onuoha’s suitability for public office, insisting that “anyone who has polarised an entire local government area through divisive politics cannot credibly aspire to represent Abia North Senatorial District.”
ANPF also advised Onuoha to “address his anger issues” and embrace constructive engagement rather than inflammatory rhetoric, warning that politics built on fear of being defeated and division had no place in a democracy.
The group urged Governor Otti to intervene decisively, stressing that the state government must not allow insecurity to be politicised for narrow interests.
“It is time for the governor to caution him and all like-minded actors not to overheat the politics of Abia State using insecurity,” the statement added.
ANPF reaffirmed its commitment to peace, democratic values and issue-based politics in Abia North, insisting that the zone “will not be dragged backwards by desperate actors seeking relevance through chaos.”
